We built Beaqua because document data entry shouldn’t be a career.
Beaqua is the product of years of watching ops teams burn time on the same kind of work — extracting fields from PDFs, copying numbers from invoices, reconciling contracts against spreadsheets. We think there’s a better way, and the underlying AI is finally good enough to ship it.
Our mission
To turn the time ops teams spend on document data entry into time they spend on judgement. Beaqua handles the mechanical part — extracting fields with confidence scores. Your team handles the part that needs human attention. The result: more done, fewer errors, less burnout.
What we stand for
Confidence over confidence.
We’d rather show you a 67% confidence score and route the document to review than silently guess. Our customers tell us this is the difference between an AI tool they trust and one they don’t.
API and dashboard are equal citizens.
Engineers want a clean API. Ops teams want a clean dashboard. We don’t make either group feel like an afterthought.
Documents are sensitive.
Your contracts, invoices, and KYC packs contain real money and real PII. We treat them that way — encryption at rest, EU/UK residency, per-tenant keys on Enterprise.
How Beaqua started
Beaqua began with two founders watching their respective finance ops teams type the same kinds of numbers from PDFs into spreadsheets, day after day. We’d both been told for years that OCR + ‘AI’ would fix this. We finally tried building it — and discovered that the foundation models had quietly become good enough. Beaqua is what we wish we could have bought five years ago.
